US LNG Feedgas Intake at Fourth Month High

Feedgas intake at US LNG facilities has recovered to an over four-month high Oct. 9, according to Bloomberg data.

  • Feedgas intake at US LNG facilities is currently 13.544 bcf/d, the highest level since late May.
  • Driving the increase has been a rise in feedgas intake from Sabine Pass, which rose to its highest level since late April at 5.071 bcf/d.
  • Freeport LNG has also seen its feedgas intake rise by 0.5 bcf/d on the previous day to 1.97 bcf/d
  • The high intake comes despite ongoing maintenance at the Cove Point LNG terminal, where intake is currently near zero.
