U.S. natural gas stocks fell 93 Bcf last week according to the latest EIA report causing natgas prices to slip, coming in lower than estimates.

  • US Natgas JAN 25 down -0.9% at 3.68$/mmbtu
  • Stocks were expected to fall by 100 Bcf according to a median of analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. A WSJ poll expected a fall of 97 Bcf.
  • U.S. natgas prices had also found support on Friday from colder weather.
