US Natural Gas Production Forecast for 2024 Revised Down: EIA

US Natural Gas production forecasts for 2024 have been revised down in February to 104.37 bcf/d, compared to 105.04 bcf/d in Jan, according to the EIA’s Short Term Energy Outlook.

  • However, production in 2025 is set to rise to 106.46 bcf/d, compared to the forecast for 106.38 bcf/d projected in Jan.
  • Henry Hub Spot prices have been revised down for 2024 to $2.54/MMBtu, a fall of 9 cents/Mmbtu.
  • Spot prices for 2025 are also down 12 cents/MMBtu to $2.94/MMBtu.
  • LNG Exports are set to be 12.09 bcf/d in 2024 and 14.43 bcf/d in 2025.
