US Port Arthur Refinery Partly Restarts

OIL

TotalEnergies’ Port Arthur refinery has restarted several units while others are heating up after the unit went offline on 23 Dec because of a freeze-related shutdown, according to a Genscape report.

  • Units restarted Thursday night include the 165kbpd ACU-1 crude unit, 55kbpd VDU, 40kbpd catalytic reformer, 46kbpd naphtha hydrotreater and 66kbpd ULSD hydrotreater.
