US Pulls Back on Warmer Weather for Gulf Coast and Stable Flows

US Natgas front month price pulls back on unchanged production, warm weather toward the Gulf Coast and LNG exports holding steady with Freeport LNG not expected to resume partial operations until mid December.

    • US Natgas DEC 22 down -5.1% at 6.67$/mmbtu
  • Natural gas production remains approximately unchanged from the average seen over the last week at 101.6bcf/d.
  • Domestic demand is near normal at 82.0bcf/d with weather forecasts still showing cold weather for much of the West but above normal temperatures are expected in the East and in the Gulf Coast Region.
  • Deliveries to US LNG export terminals are today showing as 11.6bcf/d compared to average for the last week of 11.7bcf/d.
  • Exports to Mexico have dipped slightly with flows today estimated at 5.7bcf/d compared to 5.9bcf/d over the weekend.
