US Rallies on Cooler Weather and Prospect of Higher Exports

US Natgas trades up 5% as US weather forecasts suggest temperatures in the west are falling back below normal towards the end of the month after a period of warm weather during this week.

  • The expectation of an increase in LNG exports later this year is also adding to the price support. Freeport LNG on Friday provided some clarity to the timing of the restart of their export terminal with initial operations expected to resume in mid December.
