US Steady with High Production and Curtailed LNG Exports

US Natgas is trading around close levels with production up near record levels and lower LNG exports balanced against slightly higher domestic demand.

    • US Natgas NOV 22 up 0.1% at 6.47$/mmbtu
  • Lower 48 dry gas demand is up to 67.8bcf/d with mixed weather forecasts showing warm in the West but below normal temperatures in the East. Power demand from Florida is reduced as the area restores services following the impact of Hurricane Ian.
  • US production was estimated up at a record 103.6bcf yesterday.
  • Deliveries to LNG export terminals are still curtailed due to maintenance at Cove Point and reduced supply to Sabine Pass due to pipeline maintenance feeding the terminal. Estimations show 10.56bcf/d for today.
