US TSY DEPT: The Treasury is doing more moves to stay under its debt limit
(which lifting was just extended for two weeks this past Friday); Bloomberg
reports this afternoon that the Treasury's Sec Mnuchin said Treasury is
suspending the investment part of the Civil Service Retirement and Disability
Fund that is not immediately required to pay beneficiaries. 
- Mnuchin said in letter to House Speaker Ryan that the suspension to the CSRDF
will turn from Monday (today) to about Jan. 31st, said Bloomberg; it will also
suspend investments into the Postal Service Retirement Health Benefits Fund,
too, it said.
- Recall: Last week, Treasury suspended as of Friday noon (last Fri), the
issuance of SLUGS (debt used in connection with issuance of municipal bonds.)
