DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last C$1.3253, having advanced 20 pips or so yesterday,
as the pair moved roughly in sync with broader gyrations in dollar strength.
- CAD's reaction to a bounce in oil prices was rather muted, although WTI closed
the day 2.3% higher.
- Bulls eye the nearby Nov 23 high at C$1.3259 and a break above would open up
the 61.8%/76.4% fibo retracement of the move from C$1.3318 to C$1.3183 at
C$1.3266/86. Conversely, bears need a break below yesterday's lows of C$1.3187
before targeting the 21-DMA at C$1.3184.
- Canadian docket this week includes GDP figures due Friday.
