DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last deals at C$1.3178, close to opening levels.
- The pair shed 35 pips yesterday, printing as low as C$1.3150 at one point,
aided by a rally in WTI, before the pair edged away from worst levels in the
wake of the release of the latest FOMC meeting minutes.
- Bears need a break below the 200-DMA at C$1.3154 before shifting focus to the
lower 1.0% 10-DMA envelope at C$1.3109. Conversely, bulls look to yesterday's
peak located at C$1.3217, just below the 21-DMA at C$1.3221.
- BoC Gov Poloz will speak later today, while Friday will see the release of
Canadian retail sales.
