USD/CAD last trades barely changed....>

DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last trades barely changed at C$1.3299 after closing ~40
pips higher Thursday, with price action largely driven by gyrations in WTI.
Yesterday, soft U.S. economic data pressed WTI well below $54, with domestic
Canadian data also disappointing, lifting USD/CAD to intraday highs of C$1.3340,
before the rate faded from best levels as USD weakness came to the fore.
- Bulls look for a break above yesterday's best levels before setting their
sights on the 55-DMA/50-DMA at C$1.3348/52. Conversely, bears eye the 100-HMA at
C$1.3266, while the next layer of support below is located at C$1.3245, which
represents the 21-DMA.
- Canadian focus next week turns to a speech by BoC Gov Poloz due Thursday &
domestic retail sales due Friday.
