DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD shed 7 pips in the Asia-Pacific session and last deals at
C$1.3162, with WTI adding $0.50 overnight on the back of the latest weekly API
inventory estimate, although oil trading was interrupted by technical issues for
the CME.
- After a brief look below, bears look for a clean break of C$1.3161, which
represents the 200-DMA. This would bring the Feb 25 low of C$1.3113 into view.
Meanwhile, bulls look to the 100-HMA at C$1.3181, followed by the
21-DMA/200-DMA, located at C$1.3203/04.
- Canadian CPI comes out later today, current account balance is due Thursday,
while Dec/Q4 GDP hits on Friday.
