DOLLAR-IDR: USD/IDR has added 53 pips so far and last trades at IDR14,763, as
spot has played catch-up to the escalation in U.S.-China tensions seen after
onshore trade closed yesterday.
- Indonesia's FSA decided to ease liquidity coverage ratio for certain banks,
while temporarily waiving mandatory capital buffer.
- BI Gov Warjiyo will hold a briefing at 14:00 local time, while Indonesia's
Covid-19 Task Force hold theirs at 15:30.
- Indonesia's Econ Min Hartarto said yesterday that the gov't is preparing a new
health protocol to allow economic re-opening in those regions where the spread
of Covid-19 is under control.
- A fall below the 76.4% retracement of the Mar 4 - 23 rally/May 26 low at
IDR14,706/14,700 would expose the 100-DMA at IDR14,634. Bulls look for a jump
above May 14 high of IDR14,934 before targeting the IDR15,000 mark.
