DOLLAR-YEN: USD/JPY advanced 7 pips overnight and last deals at Y111.49, with
Japan observing the longest post-WWII market closure, due to the extended Golden
Week holidays.
- Today's gains have been capped by the 200-DMA, which kicks in at Y111.51. A
topside breach of the level would allow bulls to set their sights on the 100-DMA
situated at Y111.69, which also represents yesterday's peak. Meanwhile, a slide
through the 50-DMA/55-DMA at Y111.36/29 would expose the cloud Kijun Sen at
Y111.21.
