DOLLAR-YEN: USD outperformed the JPY on Monday, despite souring risk sentiment
through NY hours.
- The rate last deals at Y112.80, after it failed to top the 21-DMA during the
first session of the week, keeping the cross capped ahead of Y113.00.
- Bulls continue to look for a break above the 21-DMA, followed by Y113.00 and
then the 200-WMA, while bears initially target Monday's intraday low (Y112.35).
- It is worth noting that the BOJ will discuss its Rinban operations with market
participants today.
