USDJPY is back to last intervention level

  • A few pairs/Crosses to watch, with USDJPY back at levels when the BoJ intervened.
  • Overnight, Japan's Kanda said that "can conduct FX intervention even while airborne, even while flying to Washington D.C. to attend a G-20 conference".
  • Cable continues to test the 1.1000 handle despite the small employment beat this morning, after the Pound saw extension lower as UK 20yr Yield approached the 5% mark yesterday afternoon, printed a 4.947% high.
  • AUD remains the worst performer in G10 against the USD, down 0.65%, albeit off its worst levels.
  • Further pressure will open to 0.6200 next.
