Vattenfall Extends Ringhals 4 Outage

The unplanned outage at Vattenfall’s 565MW Ringhals Block4 nuclear reactor has been extended until 2 July, from 27 June previously scheduled, remit data showed.

  • Works started on 18 June.
  • The reason for the outage is a foreseen maintenance on the generator, remit data showed.
  • In addition, Vattenfall’s 1.04GW Forsmark 1 nuclear reactor will have intermittent reduced capacity between 26 August and 15 September due to tests, remit data showed. Unavailable capacity will range from 0-1040MW.
