VIEW: Swedbank Look For A More Hawkish Path

In the wake of this morning’s CPIF metrics Swedbank note that the prints provided a firmer reading than the Riksbank expected, flagging “another broad-based uptick.” As such, they revise their Riksbank call and expect a 50bp hike in June, followed by consecutive 25bp hikes thereafter until rates hit 1.75% in April 2023.
