Vitol has agreed to charter two supertankers to deliver US crude to Nigeria’s Dangote refinery in May according to Reuters sources.

  • Vitol is looking to charter VLCC Water Tiger to ship oil from the U.S. Gulf Coast to Nigeria between May 13 and May 16 and Hafeet to deliver crude from the U.S. Gulf Coast between May 15 and May 20.
  • A PetroChina cargo of US WTI waits off Nigeria because of payment issues.
