WAF Crude Exports Stable in March

West African oil loadings were stable on the month in March amid a rise in exports from Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Ghana, according to Bloomberg.

  • This offset falls in the Ivory Coast and DRC. Nigeria and Angola were largely unchanged.
  • Crude and condensate exports from 10 countries in WAF were up 11k b/d on the month to 3.45m b/d in March.
  • Angolan exports were 1.08m b/d in March, compared to 1.09m b/d in February.
  • Nigeria’s crude and condensate exports were 1.51m b/d in March, compared to 1.52m b/d in February.
  • Around 58% of cargoes were headed westward, while 42% were headed eastwards.
  • Shipments to China fell 505k b/d to 1.04m b/d in March.
