CHINA: Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), will lead a
delegation to the U.S. for trade talks in late August, according to a statement
on the MOFCOM's website. The talks are at the invitation of the U.S., and will
be led by Wang's counterpart David Malpess, Secretary of Treasury for
International Affairs.
  - China opposes to trade protectionism and will not accept any unilateral
trade measures, but it welcomes negotiations on the basis of mutual equality and
honesty, the statement reiterated.
