WEATHER: Hurricane Francine Disrupting Gulf Production
WEATHER
Tropical storm Francine - the 6th named storm of the 2024 hurricane season - is expected to make landfall in Louisiana as a hurricane by Wednesday according to the Chief meteorologist at WINK NEWS, Matt Devitt.
- “Highest current probability is between Cameron and Morgan City. Official forecast from the NHC is for a Category 1 at landfall, but if it can get its act together I can't rule out a Category 2,” he said via X. (See image for details)
- He added it would be the first Louisiana hurricane to make landfall since Ida in 2021.
