WEEK AHEAD: China's LPR Headlines Docket


1- and 5-Year LPR Fixings from China highlight the Asian docket this week. Also due this week is the latest monetary policy decision from Bank Indonesia.

  • China: Aside from the aforementioned LPR fixings the docket is thin this week with just November Swift Global Payments due.
  • South Korea: The local data calendar is empty until Thursday when November PPI and December first 20-Days Terms of Trade cross.
  • Hong Kong: November Unemployment, due Tuesday, and CPI, due Thursday, provide the highlight this week. Also due on Thursday is Q3 Balance of Payments.
  • Taiwan: The only releases of note this week is November Export Orders (Wednesday) and November Unemployment (Friday).
  • Singapore: On the wires this morning is November Export data, the calendar is empty for the remainder of the week.
  • Malaysia: Friday's November CPI print headlines the docket this week, due tomorrow we have November Trade Balance.
  • Indonesia: The latest monetary policy decision from Bank Indonesia is due on Thursday, there is no change to policy expected.
  • Thailand: The docket is thin this week with just Weekly Foreign Reserves due.
  • Philippines: November Balance of Payments is the only release of note this week and is due tomorrow.
  • India: There are no data releases this week.
