Weighing New 10-Year Peso Bond in Bid to Cut Maturities

COLOMBIA

(Bloomberg) Colombia's Finance Ministry is holding meetings with market makers to discuss ways to scale back the maturities on some of the peso bonds it sells at auction, Public Credit Director Cesar Arias says in phone interview.

  • "The motivation is not that costs are too high. Investors are generally transitioning to the middle part of the curve where they find a good balance between yields and less duration risk."
