US TSYS/STOCKS: Wells Fargo strategists Boris Rjavinski, Mike Schumacher and
Zachary Griffiths quipped on month-end and Halloween (Oct. 31st) that "politics,
central banks, global flows drive U.S. curves and relative value." They add that
"as Halloween approaches, the usual ghosts and ghouls of sovereign bond index
extensions will be haunting bond portfolio managers" with "typical ritual of
month-end adjustments and reinvestment of principal and coupon proceeds." 
- They expect to "see small pension rebalancing flows into month-end of roughly
$4-5 billion selling in equities versus $4 billion buying in bonds" based on
late Wed. price action."
