West Africa Set for Oil Product Surplus: FGE

West African fuel supply is set for a significant boost in the coming years because of Nigeria’s Dangote refinery and capacity growth from NNPC according to FGE.

  • Nigeria's refining capacity is expected to reach almost 1 mn b/d by 2025.
  • FGE expect the country to be in surplus for all products except gasoline once Dangote runs notch higher by 2H 2024.
