ENERGY – What to Watch

  • The weekly US API and EIA oil inventory data will both be delayed by one day this week due to the US holiday yesterday. New expected data released today is limited to the Spain CORES crude import data for July.
  • Saudi Aramco is due to publish their official selling prices for October in the coming days with expectation that the Arab Light crude to Asia will fall from a record 9.8$/bbl to around 5.57$/bbl.
  • Tomorrow morning will see the release of the first batch of August trade data for China. The data including the crude import and oil product import and export data will be release at 11:00 Beijing time.
