  • OPEC+ meet today with the JMMC meeting expected to start at 13:00 CET followed shortly after by the OPEC+ meeting around 13:30CET. Market expectation is for production targets to be held steady, however a cut will be discussed and is a possibility. Some reports suggest a production cut will depend in part on any possible future return of extra Iranian crude supplies. The JTC last week suggested a smaller 400kbpd surplus in global oil supplies in 2022 and a deficit of 300kbpd in 2023 due to member underproduction.
