What to Watch: OPEC MOMR and EIA STEO

ENERGY
  • OPEC are scheduled to release the Monthly Oil Market Report normally about 13:00BST with updated forecasts for supply, demand and production estimates.
  • EIA are also expected to publish their latest Short Term Energy Outlook at 17:00BST with updates to supply and demand forecasts for 2023 for oil, gas, and power markets.
  • The latest weekly API oil inventory data is due for release today at 16:30 EST ahead of the EIA data tomorrow. Both sets of data are delayed by a day due to the US holiday on Monday. US inventory data is currently expected to show a build in crude stocks and draws in both gasoline and distillates.
  • Genscape European ARA crude inventories will be updated today at 09:00BST. Stocks were near normal last week with stocks of 55.15mbbls. The five-year average for this time of year is 53.7mbbls.
