Wnorowski Says MPC Will Remain Cautious, Kotecki Sees '23 GDP Growth At +0.1%-0.3% Y/Y

Relatively centrist MPC member Henryk Wnorowski told Biznes24 that Poland is on a lasting path of disinflation but its rate-setting panel will likely keep its cautious approach going forward, adding that today's preliminary CPI report doesn't change anything in this regard.

  • Separately, his relatively hawkish colleague Ludwik Kotecki said that "we will close this year with a GDP growth of +0.1%-0.3% Y/Y, perhaps".
