WTI-Brent Falls; Cracks Recover Some Lost Ground

WTI-Brent spread falls further to -6.38$/bbl as Brent futures push higher than WTI with supply disruptions and US economic concerns.

  • WTI AUG 22 up 0.3% at 109.94$/bbl
  • Gasoil JUL 22 down -4.2% at 1210$/mt
  • WTI-Brent down -0.82$/bbl at -6.38$/bbl

Refined product crack spreads are recovering a little ground after significant losses earlier today. Gasoline cracks are approaching last night’s closing levels, but diesel spreads remain down over 5$/bbl on the day.

  • US 321 crack down -1.9$/bbl at 51.58$/bbl
  • US gasoline crack down -0.1$/bbl at 47.77$/bbl
  • US ULSD crack down -5.5$/bbl at 59.21$/bbl
  • Brent FCC margin down -3.6$/bbl at 20.72$/bbl
  • Gasoline-Brent down -0.3$/bbl at 43.82$/bbl
  • Gasoil-Brent down -6$/bbl at 41.96$/bbl
