OIL: WTI & Brent trade around $0.20 lower than their respective settlement
levels at writing, after finishing little changed on Monday.
- Geopolitical focus continues to centre on the Iranian situation, while the
global economic outlook continues to spread worry re: the demand side of the
pricing equation.
- The latest Platts survey suggested that OPEC production was unchanged in the
month of June, while the Argus survey pointed to an 80K bpd decline in OPEC
production during the month.
- Focus on Tuesday will fall on the latest API inventory estimate, ahead of
Wednesday's DoE inventory release.
