- A total of 961kbbls of open June 23 options positions on CME and ICE are due to expire against the June future close today. Current aggregate open interest is 632k calls and 328k puts.
- The open interest across all WTI options on both exchanges is currently 2.12m calls and 1.25m puts.
- A significant volume of about 10k of puts and 20k of calls sit just below the current market price at the 70$/bbl strike with another significant exposure sitting above the current market at the 75$/bbl strike.
