WTI Option Expiry – Thurs 15th September 22 at 14:30 ET close
- A total of 345mbbls of open October 2022 options positions on CME and ICE are due to expire against the Oct future close tomorrow. Current aggregate open interest is 200k calls and 145k puts.
- The open interest across all WTI options across both exchanges is currently 2.09m calls versus 0.91m puts.
- The closest strikes of interest are 85$/bbl for the puts and 88$/bbl for the calls.
