WTI traded lower yesterday and has now filled the entire gap left in the chart
by the risk related price spike on Sep 16. This follows yesterday's low print of
55.55. Bearish pressure is seen likely to remain intact for now and attention
turns to trendline support at 54.82, drawn off the Aug 7 low. A break of the
trendline would open 53.93. On the upside, resistance has been defined at 59.49,
Sep 19 high. As long as this level remains intact, the bearish outlook holds.
