Yen, US Tsys Firm

CROSS ASSET

The Yen has firmed in recent dealing, the move has came alongside a bid in US Tsy as Yields tick lower in early trade on Friday.

  • USD/JPY is down ~0.4%, last printing at ¥146.60/70. Support is seen at ¥145.86 (20-Day EMA).
  • Elsewhere in G-10 Kiwi is up ~0.3% and the Scandies are firmer although liquidity is generally poor in Asia.
  • US Tsys are firmer, TYZ3 deals at 110-08+, +0-09+. Yields are ~3bps lower across the curve.
  • There has been little spillover into equities at the moment with e-minis holding marginally lower.
