Dec-18 Bund futures extended their gains on Friday, taking out the Sep 6 high to

bring the Sep 3 high at 160.95 into focus. Above here opens the contract high at

161.30 seen on Aug 17, ahead of a potential return to the May 28 high on the

continuation chart. Bears need to break below the Oct 25 low at 159.86 to

stabilize the short-term outlook, but a break below the Oct 22 low at 158.84

would be needed to give bears the upper hand.
