Copper futures remain above last week’s low. For now, the latest move higher is considered corrective, and the contract has found resistance at the 50-day EMA, currently at $378.01. A clear break of this average would be a bullish development and undermine the current bearish theme. This would open $385.15, the Sep 15 high. On the downside, clearance of 358.60, the May 24 low, would confirm a resumption of the downtrend.
