- CURRENT SITUATION (CS) forecast to fall after three straight months of gains 
- Bloomberg Consensus: -10.5; Prev (Jan): -9.5 
- The index dropped to the lowest level since Apr 2010 in Oct before it improved
significantly in Jan. 
- However, CS remain in negative territory for seven months in a row in Jan 
- ECONOMIC SENTIMENT (ES) is forecast to tick lower in Jan to a two-months low. 
- Bloomberg Consensus: 20.7; Prev(Jan): 26.7 
- Expectations shifted above zero in Dec and improved further in Jan after
recording levels below zero between Apr 2018 and Nov 2019 except for one month 
- The timelier Sentix index is in line with market expectations. 
- The survey's headline index fell by 2.4pt to 4.5 and the survey notes that the
coronavirus poses a downside risk. 
- The Jan composite PMI report notes a improvement in business optimism among
both manufacturers and service providers.
