10yr Futures Range Bound, 30yr JGB Yield Continues To Track Higher

It has been a relatively steady start for JGB futures. JBM4 was last 143.87, +.03. Ranges so far have respected Tuesday intra-session levels.

  • This is line with a relatively steady trend for US 10yr futures, which sit just off Tuesday highs at this stage.
  • In terms of JGB yields, we sit a touch higher across most parts of the curve. The exception is the 30-40y tenors where yield gains are around +2bps. The 30yr is above Tuesday highs, last near 2.06%. This is fresh highs back to 2011.
  • As noted earlier the local data calendar is empty today, with tomorrow's Q1 GDP print and debt supply for the 20yr the next major focus points.
