ASIA
ASIA: A fairly quiet start to the week in Asia in terms of the economic docket
with BoJ Rinban operations and NZ trade data headlining.
- Of more interest will be the regional fallout from the latest round of trade
war escalations, early flows are predictably risk-off.
- The daily USD/CNY mid-point fixing from the PBoC will provide a clear point of
interest on that front. USD/CNH has printed as high as CNH6.1926 this morning
and last deals at CNH6.1750, 430 or so pips higher on the day.
