BRAZIL: A few headlines trickling out in the NY/Asia crossover:
- Firstly, Brazil lodged another record daily increase in COVID-19 cases, with
just under 20K new cases declared.
- Then, on the monetary policy front, we saw comments from central bank chief
Campos Neto as he noted that Brazil may announce measures to boost liquidity
levels and extend the bank's temporary provisions, if required. He also noted
that the central bank could hike its SELIC rate if markets destabilised.
