US TSYS: A quiet re-open for T-Notes. Contract finished off worst levels on
Thursday after the White House confirmed that it still intends to impose tariffs
on Mexican imports on Monday, following reports that it was considering pushing
back its decision. U.S. VP Pence noted that Mexican officials offered to do more
re: immigration and that he is encouraged by the progress made in the last two
days.
- EGBs set the tone in early trade on ECB day, while Mexico-related trade
headlines took the lead in the afternoon.
- Fed's Williams noted that while market pricing re: Fed MonPol is informative
it doesn't force the Fed's hand, and more likely reflects uncertainty
surrounding trade.

- T-Notes last +0-03 at 127-01, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.117%.
