EGB SUMMARY
EGB SUMMARY: A very uneventful day in terms of newsflow and data (apart from
some modestly higher-than-expected French and Italian consumer confidence
surveys in the morning), but Bunds have remained underpinned by a renewed leg
lower in equities in the afternoon as investors weigh US COVID headlines.
- More reaction to the risk-off has been seen in periphery spreads, which have
come well off earlier narrowing.
- That said, VERY limited on the volume front; weakest volumes in Bund futures
today (~300k RXU0) since the roll earlier this month.
** Latest levels:
* Sep Bund futures (RX) up 12 ticks at 176.67 (L: 176.32 / H: 176.71)
* Germany: The 2-Yr yield is down 1.1bps at -0.701%, 5-Yr is down 0.9bps at
-0.712%, 10-Yr is down 0.9bps at -0.477%, and 30-Yr is down 0.4bps at -0.036%.
* Sep BTP futures (IK) up 8 ticks at 143.29 (L: 143.26 / H: 143.7)
