ADNOC Gas signs deal to supply 1.2m tpa of LNG to Indian Oil Corp under 14-year deal, EnergyWorld reports. 

  • Deliveries will begin in 2026.
  • The LNG will be supplied from ADNOC Gas’ Das Island liquefaction facility, which has a production capacity of 6m tpa, according to Energyworld.
  • India aims to raise the share of gas in its energy mix to 15% by 2030 while the United Arab Emirates aims to become a key supplier of LNG.
  • ADNOC has in recent days also agreed to supply 2.5m tons of LNG in total to India’s BPCL across 5 years, accounting for 40 LNG cargoes.
