  • It shows a relatively narrow range of estimates for headline CPI - seen slowing sharply on energy-led base effects - with some much more modest progress in the BoC's preferred trim/median Y/Y figures.
  • Importantly, this should be consistent with the average of trim/median falling below the 3.5-4% three-month annualized range (e.g. TD Securities estimate a 3.2% reading), something it has struggled to do in the past.
