ANC Wants Provincial Conferences Over by June/July, Telkom Softens Spectrum Stance

    • This leaves the remainder of the year to focus on the national elective conference in December – these decisions will be made in the next two weeks following the two-day NEC meeting starting today. Organisational renewal is also expected to be discussed
  • Telkom softens its stance on spectrum lawsuit against ICASA, saying it will remove the first part of its court application to halt the march auction if the Telkom regulator and other parties agree to have merits heard urgently.

  • Transnet National Ports Authority faces delays at its 8 Cape Town ports, with import/export companies reeling from a 9-day backlog. Wine and fruit operators have been hardest hit so far
  • ANC NEC Member (Justice Min) Ronald Lamola supports Ramaphosa’s second term as ANC president, citing stability and continuity as key reasons
