ANO Keeps First Place In Latest Opinion Poll, Trade Unions Hold Strike

  • The latest CNN Prime News/STEM opinion poll showed that former Prime Minister Andrej Babis' ANO remained in first place with 33.2%, while the nationalist SPD came second with 12.0%, outperforming Prime Minister Petr Fiala's ODS (11.6%). The STEM agency flagged that several smaller parties cannot be sure of making it past the 5% electoral threshold amid voter indecision.
  • Trade unions are holding a nationwide "warning strike", with most schools and some manufacturing companies closed as a result.
