AUSSIE: ANZ suggest that "risks to China's growth outlook have increased amid
speculation that policy makers will use a combination of monetary and fiscal
measures to ease the policy stance. That would certainly provide a temporary
boost to sentiment but we think the impact, for the AUD, would be contained.
Importantly, we think that risks related to China's growth outlook and trade are
only two of a number of issues that the AUD is confronting, and their resolution
in isolation would not signal a broader 'all clear' for the AUD. Factors
weighing on the issue are: 1) the AUD's lack of carry, 2) broad concerns about
global growth, and 3) the G3's continued unwind of policy accommodation."
