- The Conference Board's measure of April consumer confidence is expected to
partially rebound to a reading of 126.7 based on the Bloomberg consensus and to
126.1 based on an MNI survey of analysts. This follows a decline to 124.1 in
March from 131.4 in February.
- The preliminary Michigan Sentiment index fell to 97.2 in April from 98.4 in
the previous month, so there is some downside risk to the forecasts gains for
the Conference Board's reading.
